St. John sheriff's deputies arrested Edwin Duhe Jr., 50, at his LaPlace Ash Street home Tuesday morning March 27, 2012, Duhe was booked with second-degree murder in that killing and is being held in the parish jail.

General Information:
On 10-27-03 at approximately 4:37 A.M. the subject depicted in the photograph above was the victim of a murder that occurred on Fir St. in LaPlace, La. At the time of said incident Eugene Maxent, the victim of said crime, appeared to have been riding or sitting
on a 26 in. Murray bicycle.
As of this date no one has been brought to justice for this crime. This flyer is an appeal to anyone who may have any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem. Crimes of this nature are sometimes brought to closure by the smallest of details. Any information could be important, and would be greatly appreciated.
Mr. Maxent’s murder was a tragic occurrence, and his killer should not go unpunished.
