Jefferson Parish Fugitive Arrested in St. John the Baptist Parish

On Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at 6:02 pm, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence in the 1800 block of Lee Drive in Reserve acting on a tip that a wanted fugitive from Jefferson Parish was at the location.

Deputies made contact with a Hispanic man at the residence. Initially, the man denied that he was Gerson Rodriguez, 27, of Metairie, but when investigators presented a photograph of the wanted man, he admitted that he was Gerson Rodriguez. Deputies arrested Rodriguez without incident and booked him as a fugitive. He was wanted by Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office on an arrest warrant for first-degree rape.

Gerson Rodriguez was released to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Thursday evening.
