Property Description: A CERTAIN LOT OF GROUND, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon and all of the rights, ways, privileges, servitudes, appurtenances and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the Parish of St. John the Baptist, State of Louisiana, forming part of the Cornland Addition (said Cornland Addition being a subdivision of a portion of Tracts 24, 25 and 26 of the Cornland Plantation Subdivision, which tracts are delineated and designated on a map showing the subdivision of the Cornland Plantation made by Frank T. Payne, C. E., on May 10, 1922, a blue print copy of which is annexed to an act of sale by George A. Lasseigne, et als to the present vendor, passed on July 2, 1938, which act is on file and of record in the Office of the Clerk of Court and Ex-Officio Recorder of this parish, under Original Act No. 6022, which map is hereby made a part hereof by reference), and being particularly delineated and designated on a map of said Cornland Addition, made by Jefferson Engineering Company, CE&S, dated Gretna, LA, February 22, 1932, a photostatic copy whereof is annexed to an act of sale by previous vendor to George A. Lasseigne, et als passed on July 2, 1938, and which act is on file and of record in the Office of the Clerk of Court and Ex-Officio Recorder of this parish under Original Act No. 6021, which said map is hereby made a part hereof by reference, as: Lot No. 23, Square No. 2, measuring 80.00 feet front on Central Avenue (formerly James Avenue), same width in the rear, by a depth of 141.33 feet extending therefore on its South or river sideline, and a depth of 141.10 feet extending therefore on its North or rear sideline; bounded on the West or upper side by said Central Avenue (formerly James Avenue), on its North or rear side by Lot No. 24, Square No. 2, on the East or lower side by a 13-foot strip reserved by previous vendor, and on its South or river side by Lot No. 22, Square No. 2.
