Public Record Request Cost and Requirements

Required Information
Frequently, the Sheriff’s Office receives requests for criminal records checks. Individuals requesting record checks upon themselves must submit a written request (on Agency Letterhead)  containing the following information:
  • Record Check – $10 fee / per person
  • Name (first middle and last)
  • Date of birth
  • Any other identifiers (social security number or driver’s license number)
  • Reason for inquiry
  • Proof of identity (photo identification)
  • $10.00 Processing Fee for Fingerprinting (when required)
  • 3rd party requestors must provide signed release from person check is conducted on
  • Fees must be satisfied before record can be processed.

CD –       $50.00   (Accident Photgraphs/per CD)
Printed Documents (Up to 5 pages) –  $25.00
Printed Documents ( 6 or more pages) –  $25.00 + $1.00 per page over 5 pages
Mailing Fee:  $10.00

With the above information, adjudicated criminal arrest files shall be released to the requestor.
