St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre recently met with investigators with the State of Louisiana Alcohol and Tobacco Control Enforcement Division Region 2. Agents will be working in St. John the Baptist Parish checking businesses for state and local permits including St. John the Baptist Parish Occupational Licenses. A couple of businesses have been cited for either no occupational license or expired license. Local businesses should take notice of the stepped up enforcement to avoid being cited.
