On Friday, November 6, 2015, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriffs Office Narcotics detectives concluded a four day long investigation of illegal narcotics activity at a residence on Davis Court in LaPlace.

Over the course of the investigation narcotics detectives observed criminal activity at the residence and saw several people using the residence to distribute crack cocaine and other illegal narcotics. Through extensive surveillance, detectives identified suspected drug dealers and locations where narcotics were hidden.

Upon execution of a judicial court authorized search and seizure warrant of the residence, detectives arrested five suspects and recovered illegal narcotics and a stolen handgun. Detectives recovered 16 grams of crack cocaine (estimated value of $1600), 300 grams of marijuana (estimated value of $500) and 22 grams synthetic marijuana (estimated value of $100).


Detectives arrested and booked:
 

Gary Davis, 56, of Davis Court, LaPlace. Detectives booked him with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana. His bond is $150,000.

Jarvis Davis, 30, of Davis Court, LaPlace. Detectives booked him with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, and an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. His bond is $150,150.

Damion Davis, 35, of West 2nd Street, LaPlace. Detectives booked him with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana. His bond is $150,000.

Ephraim Williams, 39, of West 2nd Street, LaPlace. Detectives booked him with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, and two outstanding warrants for contempt of court. His bond is $150,300.

Milton Joseph Jr., 40, East 10th Street, Reserve. Detectives booked him with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, and violation of probation/parole. He is being held on a $150,000 bond and a probation detainer.
