Michael Darr, 37, of LaPlace, was arrested Tuesday, December 19, 2017 after stealing a neighbor’s all terrain vehicle. On December 19, 2017, about 5:15 p.m., deputies responded to the 500 block of Rienzi Drive in LaPlace in reference to a theft of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with State Police who had detained Darr after they observed him pushing a neighbor’s all terrain vehicle on the street and confessed to stealing the vehicle. He was booked with theft of a motor vehicle (misd). Darr was released from custody December 19 on a $5,000 bond.
