In observance of Veterans Day November 11, 2023, St. John Sheriff Mike Tregre and several of his fellow officers had the pleasure of paying tribute to military veterans today during a parade at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans of Home in Reserve. Sheriff Tregre joined Parish President Jaclyn Hotard, District Attorney Bridget Dinvaut, St. John firefighters, representatives of military, business and community organizations, along with and family and friends of the veterans, in thanking the veterans for their service.
We are grateful to the men and women who are now making their home at the local veterans facility as well as all armed service personnel who have worked and are still working to defend our country and our freedom.
