Four St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were among 22 graduates of the Peace Officer Standards and Training program (POST) Class 2024-39 conducted by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office Training Academy in Luling.
Deputies Toni Barnett, Tyler Daigle, Ryan Wilson and Braeden Hallmark were recognized as certified Peace Officers on May 17, 2024 during POST graduation at the SCSO’s facility.
Deputy Hallmark also earned the physical fitness and Top Gun awards.
The 12-week program included training in firearms, physical fitness, Louisiana criminal and traffic law, writing reports, conducting interrogations and general investigative techniques.
Sheriff Mike Tregre said he is proud of these POST graduates for the successful completion of this rigorous and intense training.
