St. John Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre offers his congratulations to Sgt. Brent Viator, range instructor in the SJSO Training Division, on his recent top marksmanship awards!
In October, Sgt. Viator competed in the USPSA Area 6 Championship and placed 5th overall in Carry Optics out of 130 competitors. He also earned 1st place in the Carry Optics Master Class and 1st place in Carry Optics Law Enforcement.
Over the Nov.14th weekend, Sgt. Viator competed at the Louisiana Gator Classic and finished 2nd overall in Carry Optics out of 67 competitors. He also placed second in Carry Optics Master Class and second in Cary Optics Law Enforcement.
