Detectives with the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office along with assistance from the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office arrested Michael Zulli, age 60, of LaPlace on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Zulli was the subject of an investigation that was part of the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office of Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Division.

During the course of the investigation, it was found that Zulli was in possession of child sexual abuse material. With the assistance of the St. John Parish Sheriff’s SWAT Division Zulli was taken into custody at his LaPlace residence.

Zulli was booked with 15 counts of felony possession of pornography involving juveniles under 13 years of age. Zulli is currently being held in the parish jail on a $112,500 bond.

The St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office joined the ICAC Task Force in February. Michael Zulli’s case marks the first arrest under the joint taskforce.
