ONE CERTAIN LOT OF GROUND, together with all the buildings and improvements thereon, and all of the rights, ways, servitudes, appurtenances and advantages thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, situated in the Parish of St. John the Batptist, State of Louisiana, on the left descending bank of the Mississippi River in the Town of LaPlace and formerly forming part of the batture portion of the Woodland Plantation and being more particularly described as follows: The said lot beginning at the point of intersection designated by a stake, or pipe, of the right of way of the Yazoo and Mississippi Valley Railroad and the Jefferson Highway right-of-way in the westerly direction a distance of 36 feet 11 inches no lines to a point designated by a stake or pipe and continuing westerly further along said Jefferson Highway right-of-way a distance of 40 feet 9 inches and no lines ro a point designated by a stake or pipe aggregating a total frontage on the said Jefferson Highway right-of-way of 77 feet 8 inches; thence in a southerly direction of 60 feet along a line separating this portion formerly belonging to Zenon Montz to a point designated by a stake or pipe where said line intersects the right-of-way of the Yazoo and Mississippi Valley Railroad; thence in an easterly direction a distance of 87 feet 5 inches 6 lines along the right-of-way of the Yazoo and Mississippi Valley Railroad to the original point of beginning designated by a stake at the point where the right of way of the Jefferson Highway intersects, all as per plan of S.E. Calongne, Civil engineer dated New Orleans, Louisiana May 9, 1937.
