L. Jones and Major John Gonor congratulates five St. John Parish Officers who recently graduated from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office Regional Post Academy in May 2010. The academy was held at the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Training Academy.

Bullock began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in Jan 2010 and is presently assigned to the Uniformed Patrol Division. Dep Champagne began in Sept 2003, Dep. Tassin began in May 2008, Dep. Ledesma began in Feb. 2008, Cpl. Russell Smith began in Oct. 2007, and they are presently assigned to the Corrections Division.
The 17 week training course featured instructions in firearems, physical fitness, Louisiana Criminal and Traffic laws, Report writing, Interview and Interrogation techniques, and General Investigations.
