While on patrol on Friday, August 2, 2013, at 9:30 pm, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Garyville Northern in Garyville on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle told the investigating deputy that he did not have a driver’s license. During the traffic investigation, the deputy also noticed an open can of beer on the console of the vehicle and recovered approximately $40 worth of crack cocaine from the driver’s seat.

The driver was identified as Wayne Johnson, 32. He was arrested and booked with possession of schedule II CDS and cited for 3 traffic violations. He bonded out on a $10,000.00 bond. Johnson was arrested 36 times in St. John the Baptist Parish since January, 1997.
