On Thursday evening, September 26, 2013, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office Detectives conducted an undercover solicitation operation at a LaPlace hotel. During the operation, five men were arrested and charged with prostitution after they solicited sex from a female undercover officer posing as a prostitute.

Russell Lucito, 36, East Illinois Street, Hammond – prostitution
Shawn Smith, 28, St. Roch Avenue, New Orleans – prostitution
Randall Nova, 28, Cambridge Drive, LaPlace – prostitution
