On Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 3:00 am, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 200 block of Chad B. Baker Street in Reserve for the report of a 22- year-old Reserve man that was shot. Deputies located the victim in a residence on Chad B. Baker Street. He sustained three gunshot wounds, one each in his chest, arm, and leg. The victim was transported to a New Orleans area hospital for medical treatment. His current condition is unknown. No one else was injured.
 

Witnesses told deputies that the victim stepped outside the residence, and shortly afterwards, they heard gunshots. The victim returned to the residence saying that he was shot, and they called 911 for assistance.
 

Investigators saw that bullets also struck two vehicles that were parked in a neighbor’s driveway. This investigation is ongoing.
