On Friday, July 25, 2014, at 3:59 pm, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies booked Brittanysha Morgan, 26, of Satsuma Street in LaPlace for obstruction of justice.  Morgan was arrested in connection to the Christopher Marshall arrest.

After being on the lam for nearly two weeks, Marshall was arrested in Baton Rouge.  He was wanted in St. John the Baptist Parish for simple kidnapping, aggravated flight from an officer, reckless operation of a vehicle, hit and run driving, flight from an officer, and driver must be licensed.

Ironically, Brittanysha Morgan was the kidnapped victim in the case that Christopher Marshall was arrested.  Morgan admitted to detectives that she saw and contacted Christopher Marshall every day since the July 11 incident.

Sheriff Mike Tregre said, “The Sheriff’s office will never tolerate such actions as Morgan and warns others of the consequences for obstructing justice.”

Brittanysha Morgan was arrested and booked with obstruction of justice.  She remains in custody in lieu of a $1500 bond.
