St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff‘s Office detectives arrested two suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Edgard on December 16, 2014. On Thursday, October 1, 2015, detectives arrested Emmett Ferrygood, 23, of Wallace and Ron Johnson, 25, of Edgard. Roland Lewis, 22, of Edgard was arrested December 16 in connection with the same incident and remains in custody.
Over the course of the investigation, detectives received information, identified Ferrygood and Johnson as suspects, and obtained judicial court ordered arrest warrants for their arrests.
Emmett Ferrygood was booked with armed robbery with a firearm and violation of probation/parole. His bond has not been set.
Ron Johnson was booked with armed robbery with a firearm. He remains in custody in lieu of a $65,000 bond. Johnson was arrested five times in St. John the Baptist Parish since March 2009.
