On Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at 6:02 pm, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 400 block of Evergreen Drive in LaPlace for the report of an assault and robbery. Two juvenile victims, a 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old female, told deputies that they were walking on Evergreen Drive when three male teenagers, wearing dark colored clothing, approached them. One teenager pushed the female victim to the ground. While another teenager grabbed the male victim, the third teenager reached in the male victim’s pocket and stole his cell phone. The perpetrators fled on foot towards Greenwood Drive. No one was injured.
