Sheriff Mike Tregre was excited to welcome many children at the St. John Sheriff’s Office’s first drive-thru Pictures with Santa event December 8, 2021 at the Lloyd B. Johnson Law Enforcement Training Center on Cambridge Drive in LaPlace. It was great event to spread Christmas cheer, Sheriff Tregre said. Families drove through the parking lot and stepped out their vehicle to take a quick picture with their own phone with Santa. Each child also received a candy cane.
