Sheriff Mike Tregre and the St. John Sheriff’s Office Employees Club were excited to raise more than $2,000 during No Shave November and December when several officers paid a fee to grow beards and others donated money to the cause. Proceeds benefited Perry’s Posse, a nonprofit organization that raises money to assist cancer patients in the River Parishes; and the Jeremy Triche Fallen Hero Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises money for local and state law enforcement agencies and financial needs of families of fallen law enforcement officers. On hand to accept proceeds from SJSO Employees Club President Ashley Clement and Vice President Renata Morris are Tanya Roccaforte and Joan LeBouef for Perry’s Posse and Edie Triche, for the Jeremy Triche Fallen Hero Foundation.
