St. John officers, along with St. John Parish firefighters and emergency services personnel, attended a ceremony honoring first responders November 17, 2022 at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve.
Residents and staff recognized Sheriff Mike Tregre, Parish President Jaclyn Hotard, officers, firefighters and other emergency services personnel for their dedication and service to the citizens of St. John Parish. Sheriff Tregre also thanked the residents for their support. Music, poems, and prayers highlighted the event. Officers also enjoyed cake and other treats
