The St. John Sheriff’s Office was happy to partner once again in August with Louisiana Federal Credit Union for the Pack the Pirogue campaign to provide school supplies to students in the River Parishes for the 2023-24 school year.
Sheriff Mike Tregre and Deputies Ingrid Perrilloux and Shantell McKnight were on hand to present the supplies to Krisy Rice and Sandy Lambert of LFCU.
Employees with the SJSO donated several boxes and bags of school supplies for the campaign. Pirogues filled with supplies will be delivered to schools in St. John Parish.
