Congratulations to our New POST Graduates
Four St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were among 29 graduates of the Peace Officer Standards and Training program (POST) Class 124 conducted by the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Training Academy in Thibodaux.
The 12-week program included training in firearms, physical fitness, Louisiana criminal and traffic law, writing reports, conducting interrogations and general investigative techniques.
Deputies Johnathan Griffin Sr., Kristen Dunn, Iriel Phillips and Jadon Iberico were recognized as certified Peace Officers on November 15, 2023 during POST graduation at the Moses Community Center in Thibodaux.
Deputy Iberico was presented the Marksmanship Award and the Physical Fitness Award.
