Omari Robertson, 18, of Reserve was arrested April 15, 2204 in connection to a shooting in a Reserve neighborhood.
On April 10, 2024, about 430 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of East 15th Street in Reserve in reference to gunshots heard in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a residence was struck by gunfire. No one was injured.
Through investigation, detectives developed Robertson as a suspect. During an interview with detectives, Robertson confessed to firing gunshots at the residence. Officers also recovered the gun used in the shooting in Robertson’s vehicle.
Robertson was charged with aggravated criminal damage to property (felony) and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities. He was released April 16, 2024.
