About 95 kilos of cocaine with a street value of about $2.5 million were confiscated during a drug bust March 19, 2024 at a LaPlace home. Officers also discovered eight firearms and about 45 grams of suspected pressed fentanyl pills.
Three LaPlace men were arrested in connection to this illegal drugs activity in St. John Parish.
On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, detectives with the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division began an investigation at the LaPlace home. During the investigation, detectives discovered the illegal drugs and multiple firearms.
This investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are expected.
