The St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division began conducting an investigation in early July 2024 regarding 420 Smoke and Spirits Shop located at 975 Cambridge Drive Unit B in LaPlace, LA., and their involvement in the distribution of illegal narcotics, specifically marijuana, out of their store in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana.
Around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024, detectives with the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at 420 Smoke and Spirits Shop where they seized over 100 devices or items containing a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance, a Fentanyl patch, and multiple packets of a legend drug.
This led to the arrests of Alanna Graham, an employee of the store.
Graham, 33, of LaPlace, LA. was booked on the following charges:
LRS 40:966A – Distribution of a Schedule I
LRS 40:966A – Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Schedule I
LRS 40:967C – Possession of a Schedule II (Fentanyl)
LRS 40:1060.13 – Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Legend Drug
LRS 40:1023 – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Based on information obtained during the narcotics investigation, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Gretna Major Crimes Task Force Detectives executed a search warrant on July 30, 2024 at the business owner’s personal residence in Kenner, LA. During the search, detectives recovered an assortment of illegal narcotics and firearms from the residence of the business owner, who was identified as 29-year-old Gaith “Jordan” Younis.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Younis, and for the store’s manager, identified as Yezzun Ammuri of Prairieville, LA.
Younis and Ammuri will be booked with:
Possession with the intent to distribute a Legend Drug
Conspiracy for possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I
This investigation is ongoing as additional arrests and seizures are expected.
