Jeanne Brown and Leon Perkins of LaPlace were arrested November 14, 2023 and charged with accessory after the fact to second degree murder. Brown and Perkins are currently being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond. They were indicted and then arrested and booked.
On August 31, 2023, officers responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of Cartier Drive in LaPlace. Upon arrival, officers located an unconscious male, identified as Millet, with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Through investigation, detectives developed Jonathan Williams as a suspect in the homicide. He was charged with second degree murder.
