The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call at approximately 9:12 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, about a crop duster crash located at E. Airline Highway and Oswald Avenue in a field area in LaPlace.
The pilot survived and received no injuries. The FAA has been notified.
