On Thursday, June 26, 2014, Operation Happy Feet conducted by St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives culminated a month long investigation. Tips received from the public indicated that more than foot massages were being given by massage therapists at the 7 Star Foot Massage located at 3025 Highway US 51 Suite B in LaPlace. The number of tips received from the public prompted detectives to initiate an investigation.
During the undercover operation, massage therapists negotiated with undercover detectives to perform a sexual favor for additional money above the massage rates published in the lobby of the storefront. Detectives arrested and booked:
Feng Qin Yu, 35, of David Drive in Metairie, LA, with soliciting for prostitutes, promoting prostitution, crimes against nature, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Her bond is $51,500.
Xiao Zhen Liu, 40, of David Drive in Metairie, LA, with soliciting for prostitutes, crimes against nature, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Her bond is $11,500.
Junzhi Wang, 55, of Cerro Sur, Richmond, CA, with soliciting for prostitutes, crimes against nature, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. Her bond is $11,500.
Juvenile, 15, of David Drive in Metairie, LA, with inciting prostitution. Released on personal surety.
