Homicide- W. 3rd, Laplace

On Monday, September 26, 2016, at 7:45 pm, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a residence in the 100 block of West 3rd Street in LaPlace for the report that a man was shot. Deputies arrived on the scene to find Reginald Dropthmore, 36, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. This investigation is active.
