On December 28, 2020, officers spread some holiday cheer, hoping to lift the spirits of residents of the Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve. Sheriff Mike Tregre and officers from the patrol, traffic and fleet divisions, community relations and sex offender registration pitched in money to buy fruit, drinks, crackers, chips, candy, and other goodies and dropped off these items to the home for personnel to deliver to residents.
