In observance of Child Abuse Prevention Month in April, the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office is participating in its own Pinwheels for Prevention campaign. Officers planted pinwheels outside the sheriff’s office to promote a “spinning change for children.”Throughout the month, officers also are wearing “No Excuse for Child Abuse” shirts. If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, don’t hesitate to contact the SJSO at 985-359-8765 or call 911.
