The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested four people in connection with illegal drug possession and distribution following a nearly three-month joint investigation with neighboring St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
On Tuesday, Oct. 29, investigators arrested Joseph Noble Jr., 32, of LaPlace; Wesley Remondet, 36, of LaPlace; Alicia Duhe, 40, of LaPlace and Noah Cambre, 36, of Reserve.
The St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division began conducting a joint investigation in July 2024 regarding Joseph Noble Jr. and his involvement in the distribution of illegal narcotics, specifically methamphetamine, in St. John and St. Charles parishes.
Joseph Noble Jr. has an arrest history including, but not limited to, Secord Degree Murder, Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearm, Second Degree Battery, and Possession of Methamphetamine. Joseph Noble, Jr. is also currently on parole for manslaughter.
As a result of the narcotics investigation, St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division Detectives developed probable cause for an arrest warrant for Joseph Noble Jr. for Distribution of Methamphetamine (Schedule II CDS).
After continued investigation of Joseph Noble, Jr., St. John Parish Narcotics Division Detectives then arrested Noble on Tuesday Oct. 29, 2024 for his active warrant. At the time of his arrest, Joseph Noble, Jr. was in possession of approximately 33 grams of methamphetamine and approximately 3 grams of marijuana. Immediately following Noble’s arrest, Detectives secured a search warrant for a home in the 500 block of Cedar Street in LaPlace, LA, which was utilized by Noble and others as a drug distribution point.
Narcotics Detectives executed the search warrant on Oct. 30, 2024. During the search warrant detectives located and recovered a 9mm handgun, approximately 17 grams of Fentanyl, 43 MDMA (Ecstasy) tablets, approximately 17 grams of marijuana, 6 hydrocodone tablets, approximately 3 grams of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
At the conclusion of this investigation four subjects were arrested and booked into the Sherman Walker Correctional Center.
