Antoine P. Fourcha, 24, of 323 13th St., Reserve LA, was booked with murder and two counts of attempted first degree murder, in connection with the shooting death last year of Donovan Bailey. Bailey’s family, in conjunction with Crimestoppers, has raised a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder.
Fourcha, was arrested Tuesday (Jan. 21) and is being held under a $1 million bond, St. John 
Sheriff Mike Tregre said.
Tregre said the investigation is on going and that more arrests are possible.
Bailey, 29, died April 17 after being shot in the chest as he was driving on East 13th Street in Reserve.
Witnesses told deputies that Bailey had just dropped off a few friends at a residence on E. 13th Street and was driving away when someone opened fire on the van.
After Bailey was hit, a friend took control of the vehicle and drove him to River Parishes Hospital where he died.

The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a homicide that occurred late Wednesday night in Reserve, and claimed the life of a 29-year-old Reserve resident Donovan Bailey.
At approximately 11:38 p.m., St. John Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of gunshots on the 300 block of E. 13th Street in Reserve, in addition to a 911 call reporting that a man had been shot, and was being transported to the River Parishes Hospital. Bailey, who suffered from a single gunshot wound to the upper torso, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
According to reports, witnesses told deputies that they had just dropped a few friends at a residence on E. 13th Street, and were driving away, with Bailey behind the wheel, when their vehicle was fired upon. After Bailey was hit, a friend took control of the vehicle and immediately drove to the hospital.

Citizens, submitting an anonymous tip to Crimestoppers, may qualify for a cash reward. Anyone with information does not have to testify in court and will be issued a tip number to be identified for the potential award.
