Two Arrested in Reserve Shooting Investigation
On Monday, Dec 14, 2015, Juan Alexander, 38, of LaPlace, LA was arrested and charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm/Carry concealed weapon by Convicted Felon, and Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalties. He is presently incarcerated, bond was been set at $550,000.00.
On Tuesday, Dec 15, 2015, Detectives arrested Bryant Hayes Jr. , 28 of Reserve, LA for attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon. He is presently incarcerated, no bond has been set.
Saturday Shooting Investigation Update

One of the two men wounded Saturday in the shooting in Reserve succumbed to his injuries Sunday. Detectives identified the deceased as Demario Gray, 29, of Reserve. The current condition of the second wounded man is unknown. Detectives identified him as a 30-year-old Reserve man.
This is the sixth homicide in St. John the Baptist Parish this year. This investigation is ongoing. December 12, 2012 Release
On Saturday, December 12, 2015, at 12:15 pm, St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 1100 block of Highway LA 44 in Reserve for the report of gunshots in the area. Deputies located a man with a gunshot wound at the scene. A second man with a gunshot wound arrived in a private vehicle at Ochsner River Parish emergency room in LaPlace. Both men were transported to a New Orleans area hospital for treatment.
