Larry Dillon Jr., 41, of Reserve was arrested Friday, October 13, 2017 in connection to the rape of a 53-year-old LaPlace woman. On September 18, 2017, officers responded to a local hospital in reference to a woman having been reportedly raped in her home. Detectives learned a male subject, later identified as Dillon, invaded a residence in the 1400 block of Delta Road in LaPlace, demanded money from the victim, and then forced her to have sexual intercourse with him. The perpetrator then fled the residence with an undisclosed amount of money.
Through further investigation, detectives developed Dillon as a suspect. He was arrested October 13, 2017 at his residence in Reserve and booked with home invasion (felony), sexual battery – forcible fondling, and first degree rape, along with a parole hold. He is being held in custody in lieu of a $115,000 bond.
