Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday, May 7, 2021 about 1:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Yorktowne Drive in LaPlace where a man was injured.
Upon arrival, officers learned a male victim had been transported by personal vehicle to a local hospital where he is being treated for a gunshot wound to the hip. The victim is refusing to cooperate with officers.
