A nearly three-month investigation by the St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division has culminated with the arrest of four people, seizure of a cache illegal drugs that included crystal meth and cocaine and more than $4,000 in cash.
The St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division began conducting an investigation in late July 2025 regarding Kemone Clofer, of Reserve, LA. and his involvement in the distribution of illegal narcotics in St. John the Baptist Parish.
Kemone Clofer has an arrest history including, but not limited to theft, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of handgun with obliterated serial number, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Kemone Clofer is currently on parole until 2032.
As a result of the narcotics investigation, Kemone Clofer was arrested on Sept.17, 2025. During his apprehension and subsequent search warrant at his residence in the 200 block of East 26th Street in Reserve, detectives located and recovered over 600 methamphetamine tablets, approximately 28 grams of crystal methamphetamine, over a pound of marijuana, a stolen firearm, and more than $4,000 in cash.
Clofer, 33, was arrested and booked with:

Possession with intent to distribute marijuana (Felony)
Transactions involving proceeds from CDS activity (Felony)
Possession of firearm/carry concealed weapon by convicted felon (Felony)

Illegal carrying of weapon w/CDS
Illegal possession of stolen firearm
Sale, distribution, or possession of legend drug without prescription or order prohibited.
In a related incident to the investigation, three additional suspects were arrested on Sept. 17 after a vehicle pursuit in LaPlace. The three subjects arrested were Derrence Greenup, 38, of LaPlace, Brandon Roy, 41, of Reserve, and Dominique Berry, 33, of New Orleans.
Patrol deputies and narcotics investigators attempted to stop the vehicle, however, the driver drove away and the occupants began throwing narcotics out of the windows until deputies were able to get the vehicle stopped.
During their apprehension and subsequent execution of a search warrant on their vehicle, investigators located and recovered approximately 134 grams of crystal methamphetamine, approximately 58 grams of cocaine, 129 methamphetamine tablets, 43 alprazolam tablets, and over a pound of marijuana.

Dominique Berry was arrested and booked with:
